ViridiCO2™ delivers innovative, disruptive technology, capable of addressing the lack of mitigative Carbon Capture Utilisation (CCU) technology. This process reduces reliance on fossil-fuels, actively reduces CO2 emissions and helps to transition manufacturers towards a circular economy.
The project
As part of a video series for the charity STEMunity, these videos give children and teens interested in STEM online resources and real-world information about careers and opportunities within the science, technology, engineering and maths industries; this particular video focuses on the incredible carbon capture work at ViridiCO2. Gav took on all pre and post-production, including organising an activity the students were comfortable with and scheduling and writing an interview with founder Daniel Stewart (MChem, Ph.D MRSC). The filming took place in the labs at Southampton University as well as UTC, Portsmouth, which specialises in teaching STEM subjects.
